How do I check Conversion stats on a Product
Check each individual products conversion stats
Think of this as a quick health check for each product in your store.
You can now head to Analytics → Survey Collection Stats → Product Reviews and search for a specific product using its SKU. From there, you’ll see how many review requests were sent, how many customers opened them, and how many reviews were actually collected.
This is especially helpful when a product is getting plenty of attention but not many reviews. For example, if customers are opening your emails but aren’t completing the review, that’s a good sign that the product may need a better-timed follow-up, more relevant messaging, or a little extra review-collection support.
A low collection number doesn’t automatically mean something is broken—it simply gives you a useful place to start looking. You can focus your effort on the products that need it most instead of making broad changes across your entire store.
Over time, this can help you build stronger review coverage throughout your catalog, improve the quality of your product pages, and give shoppers more of the real customer feedback they need to feel confident about buying.
How to Use Product Review Analytics to Find Low-Converting Products and Improve Coverage
1. Open the new Product Reviews analytics search 0:07
- Go to Analytics
- Open Survey Collection Stats
- Select the Product Reviews tab
- Use the new search field/button to look up a specific product SKU
2. Search for a product SKU to inspect performance 0:31
- Enter a SKU from your catalog into the search field
- Click Search
- This lets you isolate one product and review its collection performance instead of looking at the full catalog
3. Review the product’s email and response metrics 0:47
- Check how many total emails were sent for that product in the selected time period
- Review the open rate to see whether the outreach is being seen
- Compare that against how many reviews were actually collected
4. Identify products that are underperforming 0:59
- In the example, the product had:
- 65 total emails sent
- A strong open rate
- Only 1 review collected
- That gap suggests the product may not be resonating with the review request, or customers may need more time with the product before being asked
5. Adjust your review-collection strategy for weak products 1:04
- Consider whether the follow-up email is being sent too early or too late
- Test giving customers more time to use the product before requesting a review
- Consider extending the follow-up window for products that need more consideration
6. Use the insights to improve catalog-wide coverage 1:25
- Not all products will collect reviews at the same rate
- Use this analytics view to find gaps in coverage across your catalog
- Aim to improve review collection on more products so each product page has stronger content and visibility
7. Benefit from stronger product-page content and search visibility 1:42
- More reviews and content help each product page stand out
- Better coverage can improve performance in search and generative AI search results
- The overall goal is to create stronger product-level content across the board
