Learn more about what it means to be in "Development Mode" when implementing Automatic Survey Collection with ShopperStream
Development mode is a feature in the Automatic Review Collection suite inside of your ShopperStream Dashboard.
What does Development mode do?
When set to "Development" - this mode triggers an autogenerated email to your user account that serves as a receipt that Automatic Survey Collection has been set up. This is great for testing your ASC (automatic survey collection) either in your staging environment or even your live site. When in Development mode, no surveys will be sent to your customers, only the autogenerated receipt email to your user account. See the preview below of the autogenerated email.
Who should be utilizing Development mode?
Development mode should only be enabled by your developers or internal resource who is implementing ShopperStream's code or API to enable ASC.
What are the other options under Development?
LIVE - this means you are ready to start collecting surveys from your customers! Enable this setting to begin sending out automated review requests.
OFF - this means you want to turn off review collection for an extended period of time but DO NOT want to remove the ShopperStream code of API integration.
