This article explains how to customize your survey mailer emails on the Starter plan, including editing survey copy, adjusting look and feel, and adding coupon messaging.

There are two customization editors on the platform. 

• The Starter one allows you to edit basic fields for the email
• Advanced Templates (Growth & Above) let you edit advanced options such as custom HTML, fonts, and layout

Integrating surveys with your brand

You can easily customize the content, look and feel of your email.  You can individually tailor your seller ratings, the follow-up mailer, and even the product reviews mailer.

The components

• Survey Copy and Headers — Edit the subject line, greeting, body text, and call-to-action copy in your mailer.
• Survey Look and Feel — Customize header bar color, background color, and company logo to match your brand.

To edit survey mailers, navigate to Seller Ratings > Start Collection > Mailer Customization.  You can edit both Product Review mailers and Seller rating mailers here.

Editing the survey copy and body is as straightforward as filling in the text fields and saving. To restore the platform's recommended default content, click Reset.

Coupon Messaging

You can add a coupon to your mailer by entering it manually or by enabling the coupon system, which automatically inserts your coupon's Description text into emails and tracks redemptions. To set up the coupon system, go to Seller Ratings > Start Collection > Coupons.

 

Mailer Look and Feel

Customize your mailer's visual identity to match your brand. You can update the header bar color, background color, and company logo — all of which appear directly within the survey email your customers receive.
