Canceling Queued Review Invitations

The Survey Queue allows you to view and manage review invitations that are scheduled to be sent in the future. If needed, you can cancel individual invitations or bulk cancel multiple invitations before they are delivered to your customers.

 Before You Begin

A queued invitation does not necessarily mean the email will be sent.

Before an email is delivered, ResellerRatings performs a final validation check to ensure the invitation is still eligible. For example, if a customer has already submitted a review, any pending follow-up invitations associated with that review will be automatically suppressed and will not be sent.

The Survey Queue displays all scheduled invitations, including those that may later be suppressed by system rules.

Canceling Multiple Invitations

For larger batches, you can cancel multiple invitations at once.

Option 1: Select from the Queue

  1. Navigate to Product & Brand Reviews > Survey Queue.
  2. Use the filters to locate the invitations you wish to cancel.
  3. Select the desired invitations using the checkboxes.
  4. Click Cancel Selected.
  5. Confirm the cancellation.

 

Option 2: Upload a CSV File

If you have a list of customer email addresses, you can upload a CSV file to automatically select matching queued invitations.

CSV Requirements

  • One email address per row
  • No header row
  • Maximum file size: 10MB
  • Maximum of 1,000 email addresses per upload

After the file is uploaded, matching queued emails will be automatically selected in the table below. You can review the selected emails before confirming cancellation.

  • Navigate to the survey queue area of the dashboard.
  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access this section

  • Create a CSV file containing the emails you wish to cancel.
  • Ensure the file contains only the email addresses, with no headers or additional information.
  • OR type the email address of the shopper you want to find

  • After uploading, review the results displayed on the screen.
  • Note that some emails may appear multiple times if they are in the queue more than once.
5. Select Emails to Cancel 1:29
  • Use the checkboxes to select the emails you wish to cancel.
  • Deselect any emails you want to keep active.

  • Select the CSV file you prepared and upload it.

 Frequently Asked Questions

Will canceling an invitation delete an existing review?

No. Canceling a queued invitation only prevents the email from being sent. It does not affect any reviews that have already been submitted.

Can I restore a canceled invitation?

No. Once an invitation has been canceled, it cannot be restored.

Why do I still see follow-up emails in the queue when a review already exists?

The Survey Queue displays scheduled invitations. However, ResellerRatings performs a final validation before delivery. If a customer has already submitted a review, any pending follow-up invitations will be automatically suppressed and will not be sent.

Can I cancel invitations that have already been sent?

No. Only invitations that are still queued and waiting to be sent can be canceled.

How can I verify that an invitation was canceled?

Canceled invitations will be removed from the active queue and will no longer appear as scheduled for delivery.
