The classic opt-in survey and how it works and why you would want to use it.

Exit Survey Mode, Pop-up or Non Pop-Up

This is the most important option you can set in your Exit Survey that changes how the Exit Survey works. Both work very well and is entirely dependent on how you, as a merchant, prefers your customer to experience.

 

Opt-In Mode - Upon checkout, on your thank you page, a pop-up asking the customer for their email address will show up. This is designed to invite your customers to opt-in and receive a survey within seven days.

Your customer opts-in post-purchase and receives a survey a few days later.  This method ensures a customer knows very clearly that they are getting a survey email. 

 

This is a paid feature for No Opt-In

No Opt-In Mode - Upon checkout, on your thank you page, the customer sees no pop-up and is automatically registered to receive a survey within seven days. This is designed to survey as many customers as possible and ultimately is the most successful in review acquisition.

You must have the right privileges to email this shopper in this method as the shopper gets no opt-in and automatically gets a review survey after purchase.

Your customer buys something and is automatically sent a survey a few days later.
